The final resting place of former Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe who died last week while receiving treatment in Singapore has been decided.
This follows serious moments of disagreement between the government of Zimbabwe and Mugabe’s family concerning where to lay to rest the mortal remains of the one time African hero.
It has been agreed that the deceased will be laid to rest at the National Heroes Acre Monument in Harare.
The family spokesman, Leo Mugabe said the precise date of the burial is yet to be made public. However, there will be a ceremony at the shrine in the capital on Sunday and another at Mugabe’s home village of Kutama, TWIF NEWS has learned.
At the moment, the lifeless body of Robert Mugabe is lying in state at the Rufaro Football Stadium, in the capital city.
