TWIF NEWS’ Bamenda Bureau Chief, Prince Nsah Edwin has been awarded -CAMACA Best Emerging Artist of the Year.
In a show staged rescently at the Franco-Cameroonian Alliance Hall Bamenda by an organisation called Camraise Academy, the journalist with musical talents was distinguished in recognition of his songs titled “I’m me,” and “Radio one battery.”
The songs which are a blend of Afrobits, Ndombolo and Urban Highlife music, are spiced by some very punching and life changing lyrics. Speaking during the event, the Founder and Co-ordinator of CAMACA, Kouamo Arnaud expressed satisfaction at the high turnout given the imbroglio in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon.
“The dexterity of talents awarded here today is second to none,” kouamo averred.
He further applauded the impartiality of the jury comprised of 9 expert members.
“I congratulate all who’ve received awards here today, and urge them to work even harder,” the CAMACA boss said. He then evoked the problem of sponsorship, expressing the wish that other organizations and economic operators partner with him to promote home talents.
Risisng star, Prince Nsah Edwin, one of the award recipients was ecstatic for having received an award. “The news of the award came to me like a thunderstorm. It was a big surprise, and I can only but say thank you to the Camraise Academy for the award.” He further showered praises on Zita Light for shooting him to the spotlight, and fans for the unfailing love and support.
