The two priests who were abducted in Kumbo, Bui Division in the Northwest region have been set free.
Fathers Franklin Banadzem Dindzee and Patrick Atanga were released in the evening of Monday August 19, after intense calls for their release from Parishioners.
They were kidnapped on Thursday August 15 by armed men believed to be separatist fighters, while journeying to Oku for the celebration of the Feast of Assumption.
In the morning of August 19, Christians were gathered at the Kumbo Cathedral to pray for the safely release of their priests.
It remains unclear the circumstances leading to their release.
