Betis Féminas have reached an agreement with Cameroonian international striker Michaela Abam, who signs for one season, and will thus reinforce the attacking options of the Spanish side.
Abam, born in Houston (Texas, USA, 06/21/97), although international for Cameroon, began her football career at the University of West Virginia, where she played between 2014 and 2017.
She played 95 games and scored 42 goals. she played for Sky Blue, for MLS, and for Paris FC, for D1 Feminine (French Women’s First Division).
The new Real Betis player, debuted last year with Cameroon against Zambia and participated in the last women’s world cup with her team.
She played three games, two at the group stage, against Holland and New Zealand, and the knockout match against England.
