Electricity Fully Restored In North West

High tension cable under repair in Bamenda

Electricity has been fully restored in the North West region of Cameroon, after months of unsteady supply.

Locals in the region have told TWIF NEWS that ENEO officials worked on the main transformer on Sunday August 4, rendering stable electricity supply throughout the next day.

An official from ENEO hinted Equinoxe journalist, Innocent Azeh that all necessary repair works had been done to fix the problem.

The latest move comes after TWIF NEWS’ reporting revealed how the unstable supply of electricity was crippling business and social activities in the region, especially in Bamenda and Bambili.

The restoration of stable electricity has come as a relief to many business operators who rely on electricity to run their businesses.

It also lessens the amount of money that inhabitants paid to generator owners to charge their electronic gadgets.
