GCE Board Headquarters in Buea

The General Certificate of Education, GCE Board has just officially released results of the 2019 session.

According to a communique from the board, this year’s performance is better than that of 2018, with an increase of 11.9%.

Here are the statistics of the 2019 GCE

42 schools at the GCE Advanced Level got 100%, with
37 students having all 25 points in 5 subjects.

There is a sharp increase in the percentage of this year’s Ordinary Level General performance. There is a rise from 50.00% in 2018 to 62.15% in 2019.

Advanced Level General recorded 78.36% in 2019, as opposed to 67.5% in 2018.

In terms of regional classification, the West region emerged first with 84.31%, while the North turned up last.

In terms of performance per subjects, Special Bilingue came first with 95%, while Accounting emerged last with 38%.
