American hip hop goddess Beyoncé Knowles has dropped a new album featuring renowned Cameroonian musician Salatiel and other African artists. The 14 tract album titled The Lion King:
The Gift released today Friday July 19, has sent shock waves across the Continent.
Several musical icons from West and South Africa have graced Beyoncé’s 14 tract hit. Some of Africa’s finest artist who appeared in the album are Salatiel, Yemi Alade, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
The 38 year old American singer, song writer and actress in a collabo with Kendrick Lama, Pharrel Williams, Childish Gambino and her daughter Blue Ivy has invaded the entertainments markets in Africa and the world at large.
The Gift cames a year after “Everything is Love” whose melodies are still echoing in loud speakers across the globe.
Beyoncé’s African fans have been left crazy by the new album which some say has cemented African-American ties in the music industry.
